Meet Medjugorje

It has been exactly 32 years since the six children on the hill above Medjugorje first saw Our Lady. In the meanwhile, millions of people have gone to this place, and this year more than 50,000 from 30 countries had gathered on this special place. Medjugorje pilgrims are mostly from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, France, Germany, and Austria.

This year's 23rd International Youth Festival "Mladifest", which was held from July 30th to August 6th 2012 in Medjugorje, was visited by more than 80 000 young believers of all nations from all over the world. They all visited this spiritual event to pray, sing and meet new friends, and most importantly, to find peace in their faith.

Christmas and New Year in the famous pilgrimage site of Medjugorje attract many pilgrims from all over the world. Christmas Vigil and New Year’s Vigil in Medjugorje always start with two hours of Adoration and end with the midnight Mass.
